Tickets for the eagerly-awaited second and third rounds of the Euro Hockey League – known collectively as KO16 - are now available to buy online. It is your chance to witness club hockey at its finest, as Europe’s best men’s teams go into battle for the Alain Danet Trophy.
The KO16 event takes place in Germany at Uhlenhorster Hockey Club Hamburg between Friday 10th and Monday 13th April 2009, and will include 16 of Europe’s finest teams in Knock-Out action. The first two days of this four day hockey extravaganza will feature all eight matches from Round 2, with the winning teams going into the Euro Hockey League Quarter Finals which take place on Sunday 12th and Monday 13th April 2009.
Many of the game’s greatest talents will be on show in Hamburg, with Dutch superstars Teun de Nooijer (Bloemendaal) and Taeke Taekema (Amsterdam), Australian genius Jamie Dwyer (Bloemendaal) and current FIH World Player of the Year Pol Amat (Club Egara) all desperate to take their respective clubs to European glory. Reigning EHL champion UHC Hamburg will be aiming for a safe passage through to May’s Finals weekend in The Netherlands, and will be strongly supported by a passionate home crowd.
